独立中文笔会创会会员、前理事一平（李建华）先生，在美国纽约上州伊萨卡小镇居住二十多年，在2024 年末突发重疾，于12月30日骤然离世，享年72岁。
对一个作家最好的纪念，莫过于出版他的文集。
在和张裕、周琳一道整理一平的作品时，我发现，一平真是个杂家。何谓杂家？按照汉代班固在《汉书-艺文志》的说法，杂家是诸子百家之一，意思是博采各家，杂糅众说。按照邓拓的说法，杂家就是有广博的知识、杂七杂八地包罗万象。我说一平是杂家，是因为一平写作的体裁异常多样，有诗歌、有散文、有小说、有剧本、还有时评和政论，还有学术，等等；另外，一平写作的题材也十分广泛，有历史、有现实、有神话、有生活、有政治、有文化、有艺术、有中国、有外国，等等。因此，无论你称一平是什么家都有遗漏。因此我称一平是杂家。
《一平诗文集》我们决定出两个版本，一个电子版本全集，一个纸质版本选集。全集尽可能的收进一平的各种文字，按照体裁分类有九大卷：1）诗歌，2）剧本小说，3）散文随笔，4）人文评论，5）时评政论，6）历史评论，7）文化专著，8）书信笔记，9）补遗。再出一本选集，从各类文字中精选出代表作。这两个版本也都收入一些亲友的纪念文章。
一平的写作领域如此宽广，要我对他的文字做一全面的评介只怕力有未逮。已经有笔友为他的文学类作品写了评介。我可以对他的时评政论和史论一类文章说几句话。
