It is rare to have one person who has the multi/ talents to compose music and lyrics. Some of the greats of past years have been Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Jerry Herman, Cole Porter and Frank Loesser. Someday the name of Robert Roberson will be added to the list. Don Pippin is a Broadway musical director who has been awarded the Tony Award, the Emmy Award and the Drama Desk Award for his excellence in the theatre. He has been guest conductor for many of the world's major symphony orchestras and composed the score for several successful off-Broadway musicals.
