Chase Ryan Manning was born in 1869 of two worlds: the Comanche world where he learned love and honor, and the White world where he learned hatred and bigotry. Dylan Forbes was born in 1977 to a world of wealth and power, yet to her father, who had wanted a son, she would never be good enough to take over the family business. One fateful night while Dylan was in South Carolina for her cousin's wedding, she is thrown back in time to the late 1890s. As she wakes up, she soon finds herself in a brothel lying next to a man who takes her breath away. A man she thought she had just accidentally thrown over a cliff. With their two worlds colliding, will Chase and Dylan find the love they both want, but would never seek, or will time tear them apart?
About the Author Joy Mastroianni lives in Springfield, Massachusetts. She loves the time periods of the past. This is a sequel. Chase was introduced in Mistaken Identity. I came across a photo of a handsome man and Mistaken Identity was created, and with that, the character of Chase the Wind was inspired. I wanted to use time travel to bring to the story a strong feminine woman who was in control of her own destiny and was not looking for love. Women of the 1890s could not say the things that a woman of today would. I wanted that kind of female voice to take on Chase. Fire and Ice, The Ice warrior; Alec is the third book of the series, which will be out next year.
