In Charlie and the Purple Roses, Charlie finds a glass slipper in a field of his favorite flowers, purple roses. He tries to find someone to fit into the slipper but learns that we don't have to fit into a shoe to fit into our world. He happily finds a way to enjoy the beautiful glass slipper while accepting that others may be different than ourselves. The story pivots off the fairytale notion that fitting into the glass slipper will bring the ultimate happiness and instead showcases acceptance for differences.
Charlie and the Purple Roses is a must-read for all 4 to 6-year-olds, with beautiful illustrations of characters that appear throughout the Glass Slipper Series.
