About the Author
Dave Huffstetler, a graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.S. in English, has been writing seriously for 15 years. His career path after college led him from construction laborer to carpenter, general contractor, real estate broker, and finally, a 19-year stint as a city building inspector in Raleigh.
Now retired and residing in Raleigh, Dave Huffstetler's upbringing on a small farm outside Dallas, North Carolina, has greatly influenced his writing. His work, including free verse poetry, novellas, short stories, and a novel, often reflects his experiences and encounters in rural Gaston County.
