The goal of this project was to search for a counterpart to an apparent point source of 2.2 MeV gamma-rays that had been detected using data from the COMPTEL experiment on CGRO. The source detected by COMPTEL was of marginal significance (less than 4(sigma)) and a further, independent, confirmation by OSSE was highly desired.
