This volume presents A Centennial Discourse Delivered To The First Congregational Church And Society In Leominster, September 24, 1843, by Rufus Phineas Stebbins. It offers a detailed historical account of the church's first century, providing insights into the religious and social life of the community during that period.
Stebbins meticulously recounts the founding, growth, and evolution of the Congregational Church in Leominster, Massachusetts. The discourse sheds light on the challenges and triumphs faced by the congregation, the influential figures who shaped its character, and its role within the broader social fabric of the town. The inclusion of an appendix further enriches the historical record, offering supplementary materials and details that complement the main discourse.
