The Department of Education, in partnership with Freedom 250 and in coordination with the America Policy Institute, Turning Point USA, Hillsdale College and more than 50 national and state organizations are launching History Rocks! The coalition is dedicated to advancing civic education and expanding opportunities for students to learn about the ideas, individuals, and events that define the American Story.
Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom, reveals how the woke culture has attempted to interfere with the principles found in the Constitution, the quality of education and the unity of families. It tells how the woke culture is threatening the freedom promised in The Constitution. It encourages all schools to return to traditional, classic education---educating not only the mind; but also, the heart, soul, and body. It is a reminder to all citizens and visitors that freedom is not free---it must be earned, treasured and protected.
Part Three: What Every Citizen Should Know About the United States of America, is a must read. It summarizes factual information about citizenship, American history. geography and civics. It features The Constitution and the symbols of freedom. It teaches that with every right comes the responsibility of obeying all laws and practicing patriotism. It encourages all Americans to appreciate our country, our freedom and our Judeo/Christian principles.
Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom is not meant to be read from cover to cover in a day or two. It is a researched instruction and resource tool for teachers, parents, and all citizens who value their freedom. It encourages group discussion and individual involvement in promoting truthful education and practicing patriotism. Our children are our national treasure!
Ultimately, the future of America rests on the shoulders of humanity and the hearts of all citizens. This year, 2026, we will celebrate the 250th anniversary (semiquincentennial) of the birth of the United States of America. Let us celebrate by learning more about freedom. Let us reacquaint ourselves with our American heritage and government. Let us join our fellow American citizens in replacing hatred with love; division with unity; discord with peace. Let us be proud Americans! Let us celebrate freedom!
