I have recently made some improvements to this book, especially regarding adding more verbs and information regarding verb conjugations in the present tense.This book is a basic introduction to the Catalan and Valencian languages spoken in the Catalonian and Valencian regions of Spain. The author is very familiar with both Catalan and Valencian, having studied the former before moving to Spain, and having learned the latter while living in Valencia during the last several years.Even though this book could be extremely useful to tourists, it is not primarily intended as a tourist phrase book; but rather a basic introduction to the Catalan and Valencian languages. It contains phrases useful in daily life, important vocabulary and basic grammar. It also points out the differences between Catalan and Valencian.
