The Cat Who Talked and Her Sister's Rubber Band is a charming story of the relationship between the author and her two calico cats, Sky and Miss Essie. Alone in a quiet house, having moved to a new state, the author decides to adopt a cat. But when she encounters these three-year-old sisters who have just been separated from their adoring owner due to that lady's illness, the author is unwilling to separate them. So she adopts them both, and then the fun begins. Getting to know each other, games they play, little routines that develop... all are entertaining, as well as the profound impact these precious animals make on the author. For cat lovers of all ages.
