Castle Rock Kingdom is story that follows the full 8th grade school year of Evan, Jake, Steven, Stacy, Ellie, Justin, and Kev. During the year they learn about new feelings and urges, romance, violence, depression, death, family, sexuality and friendship.
It begins as Evan and his family drive up to their new house in the Castle Rock, Colorado mountain foothills. They are moving from Pittsburg, so it is a whole new life they are about to have. From there, Evan connects to the social world of his new Middle School, and from their the large cast's web of stories begin.
