As a father of two, he has shared his love of duck hunting with his children. He is a former Park Ranger, a current Peace Officer and teaches parenting skills classes. Lee never dreamed of writing a children's book but was inspired by both his daughter and his hunting buddy's daughter when they got bored one day while hunting. Lee is an avid supporter of Ducks Unlimited and environmental preservation.
