What begins as a series of warm, domestic moments-shared campfire breakfasts, heartfelt conversations, and quirky escapades-gradually turns into a dangerous labyrinth of blackmail, betrayal, and murder.

Through it all, Lizzy's spunky miniature dachshund, Mavis unearths clues and sniffs out danger in the most unpredictable ways.
