Butterflies for Breakfast is a heartwarming Christian picture book that gently helps children understand the butterflies they feel when facing something new.
On the morning of her first day of kindergarten, Ruby is certain she must have eaten butterflies for breakfast. Her tummy is fluttering, and she isn't sure she's ready for such a big day.
With the loving encouragement of Mama and Daddy, Ruby discovers that those butterflies don't mean she's alone-they're a reminder that Jesus walks beside her wherever she goes.
Filled with beautiful illustrations, comforting Scripture-inspired truths, and a message of courage, this story reminds children that they can talk to Jesus about anything.
Perfect for:
- First day of school
- Kindergarten readiness
- Managing anxiety and nervous feelings
- Christian families
- Classroom and church libraries
- Children ages 4-8
Sometimes butterflies flutter...
but Jesus never leaves our side.
