BLURB: Everyone in Pete's family is either moving or adjusting to a move. Change brings challenges, not least of which are the family's nosy, new neighbours. Everyone says what they think, but things are not always as they seem. Who is the mysterious little visitor who changes everything? REVIEWS: This large format illustrated story is enjoyable & entertaining. Well written. LD, Reading Time, p.21, No. 4 Nov. 2012 A story on making snap judgements based on appearances, learning to keep an open mind & heart; beautifully written, heart-warming, will appeal to children & adults alike. Magdalena Ball, compulsivereader.com Unusual format, most attractive, the printing is large & clear, easy for early readers to tackle alone. Quite charming, dealing with adult themes seen through a child's eyes in a way uncommon in books for the young; works well, very evocative; beautiful production, themes touching cross-generational communication & conservation. Dr. V. Lowe, CBCA judge, Create a Kid's Book
