A lot of memory and personal experience went into it.
It's a subject I have been passionate about for a long time but one that I find incredibly difficult to fully confront.
The scars of such psychological abuse stays with you for years, maybe forever. I'm not silly enough to believe we will ever eradicate bullying fully but I think we definitely need more awareness of how big of a deal it can really be, more support for victims, and more consequences for bullies themselves. It is child on child abuse and it's damaging. This collection features poetry, personal experiences, and facts about bullying and the effects of it, which sometimes lead to the Bullycide phenomenon.
