He gets sponsored by a construction compmany and makes it all the way to New York. But as trouble finds him, he keeps on moving to San Fransico. There, he gets married and starts a life. Back home, Joseph gets imprisoned by the system. He is interogated about Peter but does not budge. Eventually, they release him in hopes of leading them to Peter.
