It truly throws the reader into Hudson's head and allows his thoughts to become real and somewhat experienceable. I read the whole journal in an hour and a half. Hudson's heart-wrenching story deserves to be read because of the way he turns out in the end. Not only does his outlook on life change, but his insights become engaging.
