Broken Promise is a raw and deeply personal collection of poetry from Dave Goodwin, written in the wake of a year marked by trauma, resilience, and rediscovery. Born from pain and shaped by moments of unexpected grace, these poems reflect a journey through physical suffering, emotional healing, and the spark of newfound hope.

After a near-fatal accident abroad and months of medical battles-including fractured bones, invasive tests, and brain cysts-Dave found his voice again in the most unlikely of places: through the care of friends, the kindness of strangers, and the serendipitous connection with someone who reignited his will to write and love again.

This is not a novel-it's a mirror to lived experience. Unfiltered, emotional, and honest to the core, Broken Promise captures the poet's evolving reflections on life, love, loss, and the promise of starting over.
