The world is no longer run by humans, but has been taken over by Vampires and Werewolves. Humans have become catle to feed the masses or slaves to serves those in control. Some states are controled and others are not. The controled states don't raise humans as food, but do use them as slaves. The Vanpires in controled states drink animal blood and the Werewolves no longer hunt humans. The uncontroled states raise humans for food and have blood banks, but, the Werewolves only hunt weak humans that have served there perpose. Wesley Rowe is a rancher who lives in Ohio along the Ohio river which is a controled state. Wesley Rowe loves his state and his ranch feeds many within his state. One day a slain animal is found on his ranch and when a slain couple is found, fear pleages his quite community. Jared Wilson is the ruler of Kenturky, which is not a controled state and he has a plan to make his officers stronger and more useful, however, his plan begins to fall apart. Wesley Rowe and Jared Wilson have a long history together and after Jared Wilson pays Wesley Rowe a visit, he knows that Jared Wilson has something to do with the fear that has changed the quite life of his town, now all he has to do is prove that Jared Wilson is responsable for the killings that have set everyone on edge.
