BREAK FREE recounts the struggle of the descendants of the transatlantic slave trade, brought to the Americas and the Caribbean from the perspective of the Author. Who exactly are these people? Where did they originate from? How did they come to be slaves? Much has been written about their plight as slaves and the prophesy, that they were destined to be drawers of wood and hewers of water or slaves. However, at the end of this period, they are to be restored to their former glory and land as a great nation. Where them is that land?. Who exactly are they? What is to be the plight of those who oppressed them? The answers are hidden within the pages of this book. This book challenges traditional beliefs about slavery. Slavery did end in 1838 but oppression and injustice continued, just as it had been foretold. A people were to undergo slavery, oppression and injustice for 400 years. Are the descendants of the transatlantic slave trade the people of the book? When will the 400 hundred years end?
