BrainTalk is a story aimed at young readers aged between 8 - 12 years old. It is the 1st book in a series of short stories, told from the perspective of Ben, a boy on the cusp of growing up and discovering who he is. Written by a psychologist and mum of three, this is the first book in the 'BrainTalk series.. As well we being an engaging story, it also brings the young reader to a new understanding about how they can make sense of the world better through how they think. The books are written in such a way that they can be read out aloud by a parent to their child as a bedtime story, or by the child themselves. If in the early years a child can learn some tools to help them to understand and manage their own mind, this will make them emotionally stronger longer term.
