Borrowed Emotions: Volume 1

Borrowed Emotions
You ask me
What's my
Inspiration
I tell you
A single word,
Everything.
It's not that I'm trying to be
Secretive
But it's true
These are
Our
Emotions
My poems are the
Melting pot
Of emotions
I take from some and give to others

Most times they come from people watching,
Sometimes they come from the girl crying about a breakup,
Or from the student daydreaming in class,
I often assume or make up what is going on
Then again some are from emotions portrayed in movies or books
I even sprinkle some of my own feelings in there
(You will have no way of knowing which is which)
Don't worry dear,
I am simply
Borrowing them
They're still yours
I have also included different versions of the same poems,
One is bound to connect with you
Naturally,
After all I have said about what is in the contents of this masterpiece,
You are left with

Borrowed Emotions
