Janielle Westermire is a native of Western Colorado. She is a recent widow with three adult children and three beautiful grandchildren. She and her husband, Jim, decided to raise alpacas as a retirement investment. Before long, the farm added llamas, two goats, ducks, and chickens. After twenty-seven years as a jail operations deputy, she retired and began writing stories of her animals. One of her joys is to read to children and see the imagination in their eyes. Janielle's faith in God is her comfort and never ending with her go-to verse being Proverbs 3:5-6.
