Birmingham Chronicles is a series of my unpublished short stories written in 2015. These stories range from a time frame in the early 1990s up until todays tragic events in the low- income Urban Communities in Birmingham, Alabama. African Americans experience a different type of economic cycle within the hood. This Hood Thriller will touch on the drug industry, boosters, hustlers, and robbery, detailing the consequences of these actions in death, incarceration, and the ten percent that makes it out of poverty successful and alive! You will be able to relate to at least one character within the series as they display how the community and the struggle to survive and fit in can trap your mind making you focus only on making it one more day versus positive ways to get you through life!
