Have you been searching for an easy-to-read version of the Bible? Well this collection of Bible stories, all told in rhyme, may well be just what you have been looking for! Far more than a nursery version of simple bedtime stories, these volumes of the Bible's most classic tales are concisely yet explicitly told to make them impossible to forget. They are written using several different rhyming styles, including limericks, which allow for easy memorisation and provide humour where appropriate. Bible Legends Told in Rhyme also has helpful Bible chapter guides for easy reference. This book spares no fact. So when Daniel gets thrown to the lions, somebody is going to pay! And when King Solomon has a dilemma, he threatens to cut a baby in two in order to teach one mother a lesson-all nothing more than the Bible states itself. There is a plethora of Bible books for children out there, but there is nothing as stylish and succinct, using engaging rhyming meter, as this. Many rhyming books try but either fail to include the detail or compromise rhyming flow in order to fit in facts. Limericks are especially difficult to write but are used in this volume to great effect. Leaf through and see for yourself.
