A miracle is defined as a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency. A highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences. (dictionary.com)
Grace is a normal girl from a regular family in Northern Idaho. She is smallish, with blond, curly hair that bounces when she runs. Her brown, almond-shaped eyes are a shade darker than creamed coffee, with just a hint of gold that sparkles when she smiles. Her life was as she thought it should be until one day there was blinding pain.
The pain brings in the blackness and is unique. It is quiet, peaceful, inviting even until she starts coming out of it. The light brings clarity and pain, so much pain. As she bats her eyelids open and she sees three fuzzy heads surrounding her. As the diagnosis of cancer is spoken into her ears she closes her eyes. All she desires is to return to the darkness, until one day she finds hope. This new hope awakens a new purpose she could have never imagined.
