A unique spiritual memoir and unprecedented form of autobiography, Being Pyotr Ilyich offers Tchaikovsky's life in his own voice - revealing the inner truth of one of history's greatest composers. Born from a profound past life regression and narrated by the reincarnated soul who once lived as the great artist, the book unveils not only the intimate world of a remarkably sensitive creative spirit, but also a profound insight into the great questions of human existence: the meaning of life and suffering on Earth, how a soul's life path is shaped, the interplay of destiny, karma, and free will, and the deeper purpose of the soul's journey.
Inside Tchaikovsky's emotional world
Structured in 20 chapters, the narrative retraces the essential stages of his earthly life: childhood, musical awakening, emotional wounds, Conservatory years, the creation of his masterpieces, and the experiences that shaped him most deeply. At the heart of the memoir lies his deepest conflict: a feminine soul living in a masculine body, a source of lifelong pain portrayed with honesty and metaphysical clarity. His marriage, dramatic love stories, and bond with his patroness Nadezhda von Meck are also revealed with emotional transparency.
The mystery of Tchaikovsky's final days
The book also approaches one of music history's great mysteries - the question of whether Tchaikovsky died by suicide or cholera - offering a profound spiritual perspective on the family secrets, inner suffering, and soul lessons behind his final days. It also reveals, with exceptional emotional depth and tenderness, the full story of the great love of his life.
The creative laboratory behind the music
Readers are invited into the composer's inner creative world and offered a rare, deeply personal perspective on what he lived and felt while bringing his music into being. Far from a traditional classical-music biography, the book offers insight into the spiritual origin of works such as Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, Piano Concerto No. 1, and Symphony No. 6 - Pathétique, opening the door to his creative laboratory, where the artistic process becomes a channel for divine inspiration.
A life story that becomes a study of the human soul
Beyond the autobiography itself, this spiritual book explores questions that speak to every soul. The narrative illuminates the inner child and early emotional imprinting, fear of abandonment, karma, soul contracts, and the dynamic between free will, pre-birth planning, destiny, and life mission.
It also explores how behavioral patterns are formed across lifetimes, the roots of emotional trauma, the relationship with the Higher Self, the meaning of suffering in human spiritual evolution, and the healing process through understanding, forgiveness, and self-love. The book further reflects on life between lives, the preparation preceding incarnation, and the evolving relationship between the soul and Divinity.
The foreword is written by Daniel Meurois, international bestselling author.
A deeply revealing and transformative memoir - perfect for readers seeking a true understanding of Tchaikovsky's inner world and a profound exploration of spirituality, reincarnation, metaphysics, and soul healing.
