This is a story of a young lady, Page, who desires to live perfectly happily ever after.
Determined to make the world a brighter place, Page even takes on a self-imposed role of partnering with God. Page finds herself experiencing monumental, life-changing events through other people. As she remains busy tending to her daily life, Page begins to feel the weight of those other events, and the weight of her own expectations.
She questions why she can't fix it all. All those messy, unhealed injuries come to surface in Page after she witnesses an innocent creature struggle to live. Page breaks...open. In her brokenness, she finally accepts that those imperfect events really happened to her, no matter how hard she's tried to be perfect.
Page finally sees herself in Truth, acknowledges the memories behind her scars, and admits that there are some events she simply cannot heal from.
Page accepts she is not God, and that she needs God.
This is a journey through imperfections, brokenness, pride, shame, and guilt.
This is a journey of surviving with hope, rising with faith, and living with love.
This is a journey of discovering that being perfect does not equate to being worthy.
This is a journey of discovering truth, and being set free from facades.
When Page can finally put the past to rest, she embraces the present.
When Page finally accepts God's gifts, she becomes free, free indeed.
