Darnell Jackson, a champion in college and professional basketball, hails from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jackson earned a full scholarship to Kansas University, where he attained hisbachelor's degree in African American studies. With 14 basketball seasons spent overseas and three years in the NBA, Darnell harnessed his talents to establish and maintain a strong foundation for himself and his beloved family.
Some may compare my life to the plot of a compelling movie, yet my circumstances and outcome have been very real. As I reflect on past decisions and lifestyle choices, I recognize that I could have deeply harmed myself and others. And so, I am immeasurably grateful to the Creator and my guardian angels for safeguarding me and filling me with the courage to finally share my story. - Darnell Jackson
