This collection is about relationships. Some are underway, some are non-starters, some are going bad, some are going well. Some are trying to get started, and some are being sorted out. Some are in serious trouble. Most relationships are better than the one captured in the title piece. These poems are told from various points of view, depending on the situation involved. There are rhymed verses, rhymed irregular, blank verse, cinquains, multiple cinquains, a haiku, three mirrors, a rondeau, and an aptly named villanelle. Some comic relief pieces are included.
