Before Midnight

Maya thought her life was simple-until one unknowing mistake changed the course of it forever.

Now, a man she believed she had lost has returned from the shadows, carrying the blame for everything that followed. She has never questioned who he is. She still sees the man she always knew.

He no longer does.

Ashamed of what he has done and convinced he has become a monster, he cannot believe she could still have faith in him-even when she already knows the darkest parts of what he is capable of.

Can a crime committed for the right reason ever be right?

Can a man who believes he is a monster still be worthy of being seen as anything else?

Everyone hides in the shadows.

Some hide who they truly are from the world.

Others hide because they are terrified of who they may become.
