Set along the spectacular shorelines of a hidden lake in Michigan's beautifulUpper Peninsula, an exciting weekend fishing trip preoccupies both the author and his young son. Eagerly rising before daybreak in anticipation of an ice fishing adventure with family friends, they get caught in a snowstorm at dusk. The intense journey, through heavy snow, prompts a legendary tale of creatures, primates, and capture that sends his young son dashing for the house upon arrival. Imaginative wonder rises within the warmth of home, while dad endures blowing snow to unpack tackle and harvest. This story has become a benchmark for their family outdoor adventure. It is an exciting tale to share with any child and soon to become their favorite book! A portion of proceeds will be utilized to support youth activities that promote Christian values. Don't forget your copy of the companion coloring and activity book!
