her performances and multimedia work, Ruder explores themes such as
image, in sculptures, installations, and on stage.

presents Barbis Ruder's entire oeuvre for the first time and reveals the
complexity of her work. In different cycles of work, the body is
repeatedly reinterpreted and recreated, exploring the tension between
emancipation and capitalism.
This extensive presentation brings
together trashy stage performances and sculptural works as well as video
work and provides insights into the artist's development process
