Back to Summer

Some places never really leave you.
For Sierra Bennett, that place is Juneberry, North Carolina.
Every summer of her childhood was spent there-building sandcastles, collecting seashells, painting. All alongside her best friend, Elle Rivers.
Elle was her sunshine on the darkest day. But Elle's brother was the complete opposite.

Cade Rivers made her summers miserable by kicking over her sandcastles, telling all her crushes she liked them, and always being the rain in her sunny sky.

But Sierra's world comes crashing down when she's forced to move away at thirteen. Her family moved to Nashville, and everything changed.

Four years later, Sierra finally returns back home, to Juneberry.

The summer house feels the same. The town still smells like the ocean and sunscreen. Elle still feels like home. Everything is the same, except Cade Rivers.

The boy who once made her summers miserable has grown into someone she barely recognizes. He's kinder now. He protects her. And somehow, he's impossible to stay away from.
But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to pretend there's no heightened feelings.

She makes the summer unforgettable as she cherishes every moment, knowing her time is limited.

But she finally found her way back to Juneberry, back to him, and back to summer.
