(Back In The Day Hasn't Changed) is a book describing real life events through short poems that still take place to this day to the Black race. In this book Kenny (Author) paints a picture of the struggle and violent acts towards black Men and Women in America and how decades in the past are very similar to the current times we live in today. Being from Saint Paul, Mn. Where just like most inner cities, the unlawful acts of violence toward people of color is just as high as any previous years. The day we live in now, we are able to capture and view these acts much more frequently and unfortunately in some cases, watch them happen in real time. Kenny hopes to inspire or light a fire in his readers as you walk with him in this short collective (Back In The Day Hasn't Changed).(Quote from the Author)'If we each take a small piece to the puzzle, we can work together to put it all together. Be a Father, Mother, learn about what you consume mentally and physically and through these small actions, change can be made.'
