The year is 194 ACR (After Christ Returns). Jesus rules the world from the Millennial Temple in Jerusalem, Israel. During an event called the Rapture Christ took believers to Heaven. Those left behind suffered through seven years of harsh tribulation where God judged the planet for its sin. Some people believed and were saved through God's grace. Others rejected Jesus as Lord. Society on earth continued to marry and birth to children during the 1000-year reign of Christ Jesus. Now dwelling in Jerusalem are the saved and unsaved, the Old Testament saints, and angels. Jesus has specific rules involving global conflict and how humans relate to animals. He requires that one person from each community in the world visit him once a year or rain will not fall on their land. The protagonist in this saga is David Golden. He is a descendant of Cory and Mary Lindsey, who lived during the reign on the Anti-Christ. In Mercy Reigns: the Millennium, David traveled to Jerusalem on behalf of the people dwelling in Bethel, Brazil. After his wife Diana died giving birth to their son Joseph, David returned home with his two children. After twenty years, he's decided to return to Israel and move his deceased wife from a pauper's cemetery to a better one in Jerusalem. His first visit is with King Jesus, who tells him Diana is not longer there, to ask the owner of Greta's house, she'll know. His quest to find Diana is frustrating. At every turn, he fails. It appears Jesus has him on a learning quest. There are lessons to be learned regarding patience and figuring out God's will for one's life. The story reaches forward 227 years when January Golden, a descendant of David's, travels to Jerusalem in search of learning more about her family history. This is a futuristic biblical-based story describing the struggled people had during Christ's millennial reign.
