When my daughter was about 4 years old, she had to start a new pre-school summer camp. We were both nervous. I had to leave to get a bathing suit and I asked if she'd be ok until I got back and she said its hard being the new kid dad, but I'll be ok. When I first left she was just standing and staring at the kids having fun. Broke my heart. When I got back 20 minutes later, she was running around with the other kids having a blast, like they knew each other since birth. That triggered an idea, and all these years later I completed the book about a shy frog named Bucky. There are 2 stories in one, following Bucky on some new adventures, making friends and learning there is nothing wrong with just being your self, no matter what. I hope parents will enjoy reading this to their kids and older kids enjoy reading it themselves. Who knows, there may be more Bucky adventures in the future.
