Have you ever wondered where God was in the midst of your trauma?
As Tammy Heidenreich shares riveting and honest accounts of personal traumas and recoveries, you will be inspired to find evidence of God's grace and love in your story. You will find hope for healing, practical ways to connect with God, let go of pain, and move forward with love, power, and authenticity.
In the first half of Brushstrokes of Heaven Tammy describes an unusual variety of challenging life events, with subsequent paragraphs presenting thought-provoking evidence of God's grace and presence in the midst of the trials. In the following chapters, she shares additional stories and principles that have a powerful impact on emotional healing and health.
Tammy has a persevering quality to endure hardship. The larger quality though is to interpret it rightly and maintain sanity in its aftermath. Her enduring strength through horrendous challenges serves as a hopeful testimony to the grace of God. The sweet compassion and the fragrance of a better life rises from every page. I hope that you enjoy your journey of healing, that your life may also have the scent of possibilities that are reflected in this meditative work. Steve Witt, Senior Leader, Bethel Cleveland
This book is heartfelt and redemptive. Tammy courageously shares personal and inspirational accounts of trauma survival by God's grace. Her writing demonstrates her willingness to be vulnerable to bring others encouragement. Each one of us has the power to rewrite the painful stories in our life to include hope and healing. Tammy's healing journey shows us ways to transform the narrative in our lives through faith, love, acceptance and hard work. Tammy has a great gift and her readers will be blessed and inspired by her stories in Brushstrokes of Heaven. Debbie Portner, MA, LPCC-S, Owner and Clinical Director of Cornerstone Counseling of Ashland, LLC
Brushstrokes of Heaven is truly a testimony of the love and power of God in the most difficult circumstances - a testimony that even in the darkest of times, when we cannot see beyond our own trials, the light of Jesus shines and we find our way back home... Joel Reichlin, Connections Pastor, Bethel Cleveland and Founder of Real Love Ministries
Tammy's writing is powerful and revelatory, and a gift to readers young and old who have felt a bit beat up by life. For those looking for wisdom and healing, there are many teaching moments within the pages of her book. Be prepared to watch your faith and courage ignite as you read her story. You will not be disappointed! Anne Morgan, Certified Teacher, Internationally Certified Body Pump Instructor, Second Place Olympic Triathlon Winner
