The Man Who Went Through Closed Doors
What would you do if God asked you to walk through a door that everyone else believed was closed?
Brother Andrew began as an ordinary Dutch boy who grew up during the Second World War. He later became a soldier, a missionary and the founder of Open Doors. His calling eventually took him across some of the world's most tightly controlled borders, carrying Bibles and encouragement to Christians who were isolated and under pressure.
From the little blue Volkswagen that carried Bibles across the Iron Curtain to the extraordinary Project Pearl operation that delivered one million Bibles to China, Brother Andrew's life was marked by courage, prayer and a willingness to take the next step.
But his story is about far more than dangerous journeys.
It is about learning to trust God when the way forward isn't clear. It is about remembering Christians who are suffering, crossing cultural and political barriers, loving people who may seem like enemies, and discovering that a closed door isn't always as closed as it appears.
Through his work in Eastern Europe, China, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, Brother Andrew became a bridge between people who might otherwise never have met.
Brother Andrew: The Man Who Went Through Closed Doors tells the remarkable journey of a man who believed that obedience begins with a simple question:
Lord, how?
And then, when the answer came, he was willing to go.
