In Matthew 15 and Mark 7, a woman from the region of Tyre and Sidon comes crying after Jesus - not by her name, but by her nation's oldest wound. Each chapter opens with the primary biblical texts, moves into historical and biblical exposition that recovers what Canaanite actually meant to a first-century Jewish ear, and closes with reflection questions that turn her story toward your own - the labels you carry, the doors that seem closed to you, the silence you've prayed into.
