William Joseph Miller (Bill) was a writer and broadcaster from Delano, Tennessee. He was a nationally known radio broadcaster in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Jet-Fli, and also in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Ames, Iowa; and Knoxville, Tennessee at WNOX, WIVK, and WOKI. He began his career at WCPH in Etowah, Tennessee. He was mostly known by his radio name Suitcase Simpson.
He was most fond of being a broadcaster for the University of Tennessee baseball team, the Atlanta Hawks, and the Polk County High School Wildcats.
Bill was a writer for the Polk County News in Benton, Tennessee in a column called Breakfast with Bill.
Bill died in 2024, and this book is a compilation of his writings.
