The first Jew to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, Brandeis [1856- 1941] was known for his liberal stand on issues of social justice. As a public citizen, he was known for his commitment to Zionism. Brandeis on Zionism is a collection of thirty-two addresses and statements that trace the evolution of his views on this issue.
