A collection of remarkable new prose poems and flash fiction by Ed Nichols.

Ed's work astonishes and confounds one's sensibilities and moves in unplanned directions. There are alien stockbrokers. A boy who lives inside a book. A man who is the incarnation of Ernest Hemingway. A computer that interprets conversations. A woman who marries the wrong man. A whippoorwill call that unites a man and a woman.

Often, Ed leaves the reader with a smile or a question, like: What just happened? The language is realistic and provocative. Weird happenings and bizarre events transpire in unusual situations. These flash fictions and prose poems capture a sense of the absurd with eccentric, playful, and amusing tales.
