BOOK 1

PASSAGE OF TIME

Shortly after graduating from high school, Sarah left Daniel, and her little hometown in search of her wonderful. She swore that she'd be gone for no more than a year. Twelve years later, caught up in the city lights and the loneliness it had brought her, she was desperate to return to her family, and to Daniel.

Only, she returned to a graveyard, and a gravestone bearing Daniel's name. She was 11 months too late. Overcome by anguish, Sarah knew that there was nothing she could do to turn back the time, and never leave at all. Her wonderful was right in front of her, before she left. She was devastated that Daniel had kept his illness a secret, and that he had sworn her family to do the same.

When she wakes up twelve years ago, can Sarah stop Daniel from taking the trip where he would contract the virus that would eventually kill him? Will anyone believe her as she desperately tries to save his life, and hers? Will her grandmother's book, Passage of Time, the magical pages, and the legend of Adelaine Alandrali be the key to changing the past?

What is it about the book that took her back, and gave her, her one more last chance?
