Meet Bodie, a friendly therapy dog with a very important job! Every day, Bodie brings comfort, confidence, and smiles to children who need a little extra encouragement. Whether someone is feeling sad, angry, or alone, or just having a tough day, Bodie is always ready to lift their spirits with a gentle nuzzle and an open heart. Join Bodie as he shares the special way therapy dogs help kids learn and grow, and meet the special children, staff, and teachers he interacts with during the day. Along the way, you'll see how it all started for Bodie, discover what makes a therapy dog different from a service dog, and see how Bodie became the caring companion he is today. You will learn how the various responsibilities and tasks Bodie performs alongside his handler, as well as the enjoyable activities he gets to experience with the children throughout the school year. Bodie the Therapy Dog is inspired by the real-life therapy dog Bodie. His uplifting story reveals the extraordinary difference one gentle dog can make, and how hopeful everyone feels when they experience the unique bond between humans and animals. Perfect for children, families, teachers, and dog lovers alike, this heartwarming story celebrates compassion, friendship, and the healing power of a wagging tail.
