Blue Mubu: Second Edition is a powerful story that helps children navigate difficult feelings through friendship, gratitude, and understanding.
Mubu feels stuck in a blue mood that lingers day after day. Not knowing how to find his way through, he makes the brave and important choice of reaching out to a friend. Through connection, care, and gentle guidance, Mubu begins to discover that choice, gratitude, and understanding are keys to getting through tough times.
This heartwarming story supports Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) by focusing on the three powerful life skills of relationship-building, the practice of gratitude, and understanding vs fixing feelings. Through Mubu experiencing the comfort of being supported, children learn that they don't have to navigate big emotions alone. As he begins to shift his perspective, they see how gratitude can help soften even the heaviest feelings.
Perfect for classrooms, therapy sessions, and home reading, Blue Mubu helps children:
- Build empathy for connection with others
- Understand the importance of asking for help
- Practice gratitude as a tool for emotional growth
Every child deserves to know that it's okay to feel, and you don't have to feel alone. Sometimes, healing begins with the simple choice of reaching out... and choosing to see the light, even in the dark.
