Kylie Minogue makes a musical guest appearance in the film. A. R. Rahman composed the music with Resul Pookutty doing the sound design. Mukhtar Sahota, a UK-based music producer was bought in by A. R. Rahman for the lyrics and vocals for the background score. The film is the most expensive Bollywood film.
