This collection is not a search for meaning, nor a rejection of it. It is a record of encounters with thought at its edge-where explanation begins to resemble dissolution.
Human thought has always moved in two directions at once: toward meaning, and away from its certainty.
The thirty parables collected here trace that tension. A man asks the night why it exists and receives only deeper night. A city worships its own shadow and confuses reflection for origin. A river questions its direction and discovers that flow does not imply purpose.
These are not stories of despair. They are studies in limit-where explanation stops not because it is defeated, but because it becomes indistinguishable from what it tries to explain.
Across cultures and centuries, philosophy has attempted to stabilize reality through language. But language, when examined closely, begins to repeat itself, contradict itself, and finally erode under its own definitions. What remains after that erosion is not emptiness, but openness without instruction.
This book does not resolve that condition. It inhabits it.
The final entry-The Silence Where Even Questions Disappear-is not an ending in the traditional sense. It is a recognition that endings themselves are conceptual comforts.
What follows is not instruction. It is exposure.
