Preface / Introduction Praying through the books of the Bible. What a great idea, I thought . . . until the enormous weight hit me of what I believe God is calling me to do. Not only to read through the Bible, but to pray through every verse of the Bible, and write them down for you, my dear reader. Years ago I was introduced to the wonderful concept of praying through the Scriptures. By personalizing them, the Bible came alive for me, especially when I prayed the Scriptures aloud! What I want to share with you is my journey of praying through the Scriptures. As best as I am able, I will stay true to the text. My goal is to help you personalize each passage of Scripture and make it your own prayer. The Quality Disciple's Book of Prayer on Philippians: Love Letters To God is not a Bible study, but it is a Biblical devotional resource that will help you better understand and experience the Scriptures as you pray through them.
As you proceed through the pages, I want you to create a vision in your mind that you have been personally invited into an intimate conversation with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Listen to them.
